Saul Bass is the fcuking BASSt when it comes to designing graphics, logos and titles, but did you know that he did the title credits for the 1988 movie Big?  sadly, it looks like he didn’t really bring any BIG ideas to the table, and kinda phoned it in.  Italics and double underlines?  Saul, c’mon man, you could do that in yer sleep.  heck, I could do that in your sleep!

Vera Coking‘s Atlantic City property [seen here in a 1990s photo by Jack E Boucher] that she refused to sell to Bob Guccione, who decided to build his Penthouse Boardwalk Hotel and Casino around it.  The casino was unable to secure a gaming license and/or ran out of money, and construction stopped.  Donald Trump bought and tore down the unfinished project, and ran into the same roadbloack that was Vera Coking and her property, when trying to build a parking lot for limos next to his own casino
Coking’s property was eventually sold in July of 2014, and demolished that November.  Trump’s Casino closed that September
