The Office

our first mention of the Dunder Mifflinites came in 2004, as we said… The American version of The Office can’t be good. I scream Blasphemhy!!

and then we said…. WHY GAWD WHY did you allow someone to make an American/bastardized version of the The Office? Watch many a painful clips here. The agony begins Thursday March 24th @ 9:30. So much for much for must see TV. More like, muss pee on my TV when I see these shows TV!!

and then we warmed up to it a bit… You know what, the American version of The Office isn’t as bad as I initially thought. Last night’s ep was purty darn funny. And although she’s no Dawn Tinsley, I think I’m in love with Pam Beesly

and then we REALLY warmed up to it… The US version of The Office, possibly the biggest sirprize bestness of since Baked Cheetos

and then it owned us for life…  the first few American Office eps were kinda poop sandwichistic and eventually blossomed into what is perhaps the greatestestest situational comedy mt EVERest. fo’reals, five’reals, six’reals!

thank you The Office. you were The Simpsons of our 2000s

justin case you somehow missed this: Creed Bratton  was once Creed Bratton, guitarist for the very popular 60s rockers, The Grass Roots. peep him out in these TV appearances for their klassic hits ‘Let’s Live For Today’ & ‘Midnight Confessions‘ (he’s on the left side of the screen in both clips)

Treasure Chess

THIS

is one of the greatest commercials of all time(/my childhood)

it almost made me want to join the Marines or learn chess or play outdoors in armor when it’s thundererering and lightninginging.  I never did none of that stuffs :(

it’s the Marine Corps ‘Chess’ ad created by J Walter Thompson in 1991
