did you know that there’s a giant cavern underneath the Lincoln Memorial, filled withÂ stalactites and stalagmites???????

how do we know this? Â somehow, someway, when wees was a kid, we had the Ã¼ber-rare chance to take a tour underneath Abe’s chair, and while our memory hasÂ recededÂ over the years (college does that to you), we have never forgotten about that tour. Â we even started having crazy flashbacks when watchingÂ the fellowship run round in the Mines of Moria!!! Â it’s true!!

well, we took a recent look into it and apparently tours do happen, but remain rare, if not next to impossible to take. Â we’re sure 9/11 made it even more impossiblerer!!!

somehow these peoples below were able to make it happen back in 2008, so there is hope!!!

Over-Reactoring

totally 5got to ‘celebrate’ our mos flavorite nuclear disaster of balls thyme: Chernobyl. Â can’t believe it’s only been 25 years since that horrible sh$t went down. Â feels like a zillion years, donut?

one of our crazy goals in life is to one day visit Chernobyl and Prypiat, the abandoned neighboring town that housed the nuclear plant’s workers. Â yes, VISIT!!!!! Â yes, people can and do -Â FAQ: I want to tour Chernobyl. How do I get there?

weÂ jealousÂ of these Plan C artist people,Â who were captivated by the never ridden merry-go-round ride in Prypiat’sÂ amusement park andÂ took scrap metal from the area and created a new ride that resides in Manchester England!
