whitewater rafting is dangerous at any age.  my poor mother, age 70, and I, half her age, took an unwelcomed dive into the Youghiogheny River
and later she got smacked down by a rock
glad there isn’t any footage of the one rapid that flung me, my sis, bro & pops out of the raft, and ALMOST caused us ALL to drown. Â ALMOST!!! Â
YEA FAMILY FUN!!! Â man I love those people!!!
(no one was really hurt cept for some minor bumps and bruises… to one’s pride & psychology)

This single story Shell station, in the shape of a giant scallop shell, was built by RH Burton and his son, Ralph, in 1930 at Sprague and Peachtree Streets in Winston-Salem. The owners of the oil company decided to attract customers through a series of shell-shaped service stations.
